People use the Lectron carb which I think is like the same thing. It's lower performance than the fcr but higher performance than the stock vacuum carb on S models, and you don't have to fiddle with it.It's night and day, you will feel like you bought a new bike. It's sounds different and the power delivery is apples and oranges to the stock carb. I also see the Lectron on many different bikes and the happy riders as well. Lectron looks very easy to set up and go right out of the box.

I tore into the Mikuni TMX Carb that comes on the 2002 CR250 and got all sorts of jet sizes for the thing. First I put jetting back to stock to the following; Air Screw: 1-1/2. Slow Jet: 32.5.Fuel should only flow with the motor running/cranking, if you still have the stock fuel petcock. Turn the fuel valve to prime, and see if the fuel runs out of the overflow tube. That's the sure sign that your fuel inlet valve is stuck.
