Posted June 3, 2018. With a cold engine, remove the cap and observe if there are excessive bubbles in the coolant, if so, you might want to investigate deeper if you have a blown head gasket. If coolant spits out from around the cap rather than the overflow line, check for blockage of the line. 15 year old cap is also likely due to be replaced ...

This car has been overheating, and bubbling out of reservoir. I changed the thermostat today and same problem remains. I also noted the fan will not run. Having hard time finding out why it won't run. To get back to bubbling overflow tank temp gauge will read normal and hot. Doesn't seem to matter what gauge says it still will do it.
